Yoga and art work hand-in-hand to help children with mind-body coordination, self-empowerment, empathy, and focus. We provide students with a safe and collaborative space for creative learning and development.
This class will use techniques of visual arts to dive into yoga foundations. Each week, students will be guided through a yoga practice, including sun salutations, breathing exercises, pose sequences, and relaxation. Additionally, an art activity will immerse students further in one of the building blocks of yoga, expanding their experiences of mindfulness, meditation, self-knowledge, breath, and body.
