Along with their selected focus camp, students will enjoy lots of outdoor time exploring our 9-acre campus, the Hominy Creek & Trail, our fishing pond, playground, water play, and more! Our chef also provides a nutritious lunch each day!

Cook up some fascinating discoveries in the kitchen!! Culinary Reactions is a unique summer camp designed for students who are eager to explore the fascinating intersection of science and cooking. This exciting camp will not only tickle their taste buds but also ignite their curiosity about scientific properties and reactions.

Scientific Exploration: Campers will experiment with different scientific principles, such as chemical reactions, states of matter, and the physics of heat, all while preparing mouth-watering culinary treats.
Hands-On Cooking: Under the guidance of our instructors, students will get hands-on experience, learning to make a variety of delicious dishes and snacks.
Interactive Experiments: Each day will feature fun, interactive experiments that explain the science behind cooking processes. From making bread rise to creating the perfect caramel, students will uncover the secrets behind their favorite foods.
Taste Testing and Enjoyment: Of course, all the hard work in the kitchen will end with enjoying the fruits of their labor! Campers will taste-test their creations and share them with new friends.

They’ll explore mixed media and photo‑transfer processes to uncover the endless ways images can be transformed. We’ll wrap up the camp with a celebratory art show!
